My research was a part of a large project with aims to assess hydro-meteorological feedbacks and changes in water storage and fluxes in Northern India. I am very interested in land surface modelling and exploring climate impacts on the hydrological regime and hydrological feedbacks on climate. The research was funded by the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the aim was to compare land use change and climate change as drivers of hydrological change in the Upper Ganges river basin.
I hold a degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. In 2010 I obtained a masters degree in Water Resources Science and Technology from the same University.
Gina left Imperial College London in 2014 to join the HR Wallingford.
