Integrated modelling and performance analysis of Blue-Green technologies in urban environments
I am a PhD researcher working on the Climate-KIC funded Blue Green Dream project, looking at the multifunctional Blue Green Solution to support urban adaptation to climate change. For my PhD, I am investigating the water and energy fluxes within green roofs and I established a green roof research facility on ICL’s Eastside Hall. Since I started my Bachelor’s degree, I have been passionate about all environmental engineering fields I met, including phytoremediation, rainfall nowcasting and SuDS. I received a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering & Business Management from ICL (2012) and first degree in Environmental Science from Sun Yat-sen University in China (2011). My friends would describe me as easy going, a good listener, an organized girl, and Chinese food maker extraordinaire. Aside from academia, I am a travel enthusiast and a student of piano.
