Improved techno-economic evaluation of Blue Green Solutions for managing flood risk to infrastructure
My research focused on analysing the constraints and opportunities in the UK legislation to promote the implementation of SUDS as feasible infrastructure (technically and economically) for flood management. The project involves using technical results to give evidence of the benefits of SuDS, and helping Defra and EA to adapt its appraisal guidances to allow users to implement these technologies in real scenarios.
